A man from Barrow has been arrested as part of Cumbria’s Community Serious and Organised Crime (CSOC) unit’s ongoing efforts to investigate drug supply in the south of the county.
Officers made the arrest of a 22-year-old man on Monday 19 May where he was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply class A after a quantity of suspected cocaine was located, to which he was released under investigation.
Detectives from WAF CID and CSOC carried out further enquiries and the man was then further arrested yesterday (20 May) on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
He has been released on police bail pending further enquires.
The arrest and seizure forms part of Operation Alliance - Cumbria Constabulary’s ongoing response to protect the county against serious and organised crime.
