Police have received reports today (20 Sept) of multiple vehicles being broken into near to Braithwaite.
It is believed these incidents have taken place from around 7:30am and have continued throughout the day.
It is reported that high value items have been stolen from several vehicles after members of the public have returned to their cars to find their windscreens and windows smashed.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the Braithwaite area today from 7:30am onwards, or who may have information or witnessed anything suspicious connected to these incidents, to contact police.
Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage.
Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could assist the investigation.
