Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision that occurred on the A590 Southbound Carriageway yesterday (December 15) at 4:06pm.
The collision has occurred with a stationary police vehicle and a White Renault Master van.
The police vehicle was assisting with a broken-down vehicle at the time of the collision.
The driver of the van a man in his 40’s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving a vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit. He was released under investigation.
There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
The road was closed temporarily whilst a collision investigation was carried out.
