Appeal following fatal road traffic collision on A596 at Crosby

Cumbria Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the A596 at Crosby last night (31 Dec).

The collision involved a red Chevrolet car and a pedestrian and occurred in the vicinity of the Stag Inn at around 10.04pm

The pedestrian – a man in his 60s who lived locally – was declared deceased at the scene.

Police are encouraging anyone who witnessed the incident or who can assist the investigation in any way to come forward.
