Police are investigating a fatal road traffic collision involving a pedestrian which occurred this morning (26 May) at around 3:20am on the A595 between Whitehaven to Workington.
The collision involved a red Ford Fiesta and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his twenties, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Anyone with any information, including dashcam footage which could assist the investigation is asked to contact police.
