Detectives investigating a sexual assault and other offences are appealing for witnesses that might be able to assist officers with their investigation.
The incident occurred at an address in the area of Dalton Avenue, Carlisle on Friday 16 May at 8am.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to contact officers.
Roger Murphy, 53, of no fixed address and Shane Millea, 50, of Winscale Way, Carlisle, have both been charged with sexual assault, assault causing actual bodily harm, robbery, and intentional strangulation.
They have been remanded in custody to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on 16 June 2025.
