Cumbria Police are appealing for witnesses and camera footage as officers investigate a road traffic collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian on Tuesday (3 June).

The collision occurred between a pedestrian and a yellow dropside lorry at the junction of Princess Street/Queen Street in Barrow at around 3pm.

The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the lorry is assisting police with enquiries.

Police are keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone who has any dashcam, or CCTV/doorbell footage from the area at the time of the incident which may assist with the investigation.
