Appeal for witnesses following serious motorcycle collision on A686 at Hartside

Cumbria Police is appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision on the A686 at Hartside yesterday afternoon (29 June).

The collision involved two motorcyclists and occurred at around 12.10pm.

One rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in hospital. The second sustained minor injuries. He did not require hospital treatment.

Police would like to thank members of the public who stopped at scene to assist and also appeal to any witnesses of the collision to contact Police.
