An arrest has been made following concern about the behaviour of a man at the football pitches at Schneider Road, Barrow.
Officers received a report earlier today (29 September) expressing concern about an incident on Monday 21 September where a man was said to have approached children.
It is also reported that the same individual attended the football pitches yesterday evening (28 September).
While there was no reported physical contact with any child, Cumbria Police takes such reports seriously and has conducted enquiries.
The arrested man is currently in police custody having attended a police station.
Officers are aware of concerns online about the incident.
