Police have arrested a man following the discovery of a large cannabis farm which was found in a house in Carlisle.
Earlier today (19 July) officers seized approximately 300 plants from a property in Harold Street. The proactive search under police powers followed information received by the local community.
A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cannabis production.
The investigation remains ongoing, and the suspect remain in custody.
