Previous update 2 May - A man has been arrested and charged by the Carlisle Neighbourhood Policing Team following an incident on English Street, Carlisle on Thursday afternoon (30 April).
Brandon Watson, 25, of Milbourne Street, Carlisle was charged with using threatening abusive words with intent to stir up racial hatred.
The offences also relate to incidents reported over the last two months
He was remanded in custody to appear at Carlisle Magistrates court today (2 May).
A 21 and 19-year-old man from Carlisle were also arrested on Thursday on suspicion of using threatening abusive words with intent to stir up racial hatred. They were released on bail.
