
A Carlisle man has been given a Criminal Behaviour Order.
Anthony Sheckley, 56, Grange Road, Carlisle was given the two-year Criminal Behaviour Order on 28 October.
The conditions of his Criminal Behaviour Order are:
- Must not enter Carlisle City Centre which is bound by the following: Settle–Carlisle line, Castle way, Georgian Way, Spencer Street, Warwick Road, Cecil Street, Tait Street, Crown Street Carlisle. Unless travelling on public transport or attending Carlisle train station in possession of a valid train ticket or immediately purchase a valid train ticket and board the train in one hour. Or for a pre-arranged appointment at probation, Cumberland Council Civic centre, Carlisle magistrates or crown court and leave the area immediately once the meeting is concluded.
- Must not be in possession of any unsealed vessel containing alcohol in any public place, except Inside a licensed premises.
- Must not attend St Pauls medical centre, Saint Pauls square, Carlisle CA1 1DG.
Sheckley was given the order after appearing at court on 28 October for two public order offences from 7 and 21 October and a drunk and disorderly offence on 6 October.
We would encourage anyone who witnesses the terms of such a court order being broken to contact the police immediately.
The punishment for breaking the terms of a CBO can be up to five years in prison.
Anyone who witnesses Anthony Sheckley breaching the terms of his CBO should contact the police.
