
A Carlisle man has been given a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order.
Paul Elliot, 44, of Hawthorn Grove, Carlisle was given the five-year Criminal Behaviour Order yesterday (13 January).
The conditions of his Criminal Behaviour Order are:
- Not to enter Heron Foods on Lowther Street, Carlisle
- Not to enter Spar on English Street, Carlisle
- Not to enter Asda at St Nicholas Gate Retail Park on London Road, Carlisle
- Not to enter Tesco English Street, Carlisle
- Not to enter the CO-OP on Denton Street, Carlisle
- Not to enter any B & M store in Carlisle
- Not to enter Boots on English Street, Carlisle
- Not to enter Marks & Spencer’s on English Street, Carlisle Clothing and Food Hall
- Not to enter any Sainsburys store Carlisle
Elliot was given the order after appearing at court yesterday (13 January) for theft nad possession of a knife. He was sentenced to 24 weeks.
We would encourage anyone who witnesses the terms of such a court order being broken to contact the police immediately.
The punishment for breaking the terms of a CBO can be up to five years in prison.
Anyone who witnesses Elliot breaching the terms of his CBO should contact the police.
