
Officers have secured a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) against a Carlisle woman.
Criminal Behaviour Orders are issued at court and include prohibitions to prevent criminal and antisocial behaviour.
Corrina Kirkpatrick, 35, of Close Street, Carlisle was yesterday (23 September) found guilty of theft from a shop and will be sentenced on 27 November at Carlisle Magistrates Court.
The Carlilse Neighbourhood Policing Team applied for the order to restrict Kirkpatrick’s criminal behaviour and protect local businesses.
The order prohibits Kirkpatrick from:
- Not to enter any premises part of the Carlisle Shopwatch/Cumbria Safer Business Partnership (Carlisle) except for The lanes shopping centre and Superdrug.
- Not to enter any Farmfoods store.
- Not to enter any Tesco Store.
- Not to enter any Heron Foods store.
The punishment for breaking the terms of a Criminal Behaviour Order can be up to five years in prison.
