Police investigating an assault in Carlisle are asking the public for their help in identifying someone they would like to speak to in connection with the investigation.
It has been reported to police that at approximately 9:45pm on Friday (22 May), a man attacked another man with a cosh-type weapon on Rydal Street.
The victim suffered an injury to his arm.
Police would like to speak to the man pictured in CCTV footage.
Anyone who can identify the man or has relevant information on the incident is asked to contact police.
