Detectives have secured charges as part of an investigation into an incident that occurred in the area of the derelict Gilsland Spa Hotel on 26 July.
A 17-year-old boy from Manchester was charged with four counts of false imprisonment and three counts of robbery.
He is to appear at Carlisle’s Magistrates Court this morning (7 August).
