

The family of a Dalton man who died after sustaining injuries in a road traffic collision earlier this month have paid tribute to a “much loved friend to many”.
Brian Evans, 57, was a motorcyclist involved in a collision which occurred on 6 March 2025 in Kirkby in Furness.
He died on 11 March at Preston Royal Hospital.
Mr Evans family said: “Brian was a dear husband of Anita, dearly loved dad of Colette, much loved “Pops” of Ebonie, and a much-loved friend to many.”
A service will take place on Tuesday 1 April 2025 at Thorncliffe Crematorium at 11.30am. Family flowers only please.
Donations made in memory of Brian will go towards helping with funeral costs and can be sent via the Little and Caine website.

The collision occurred on 6 March, shortly before 2pm on the A595 at Dove Bank and involved a motorbike being ridden by Mr Evans, as well as a black Nissan Qashqai and a second motorbike.
