Officers are currently supporting Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service after they reported a minor gas leak in the area of Little Dockray, Penrith.
Police were called to the report at 7:29pm today (Jan 16) and are assisting the fire service with road closures.
Closures are in place on Devonshire Street, Corn Market and King Street.
One male has been taken to Cumberland Infirmary as a precaution.
Emergency services are also liaising with gas engineers.
