Four men from Yorkshire have been charged with burglary following a break-in at an address in Kendal in the early hours of Friday morning (12 Dec).

Cumbria Police received a report of a break-in - and that a car had been stolen – in Collin Close in Kendal at around 2.30am on Friday.

Cumbria Police officers worked with North Yorkshire Police and West Yorkshire colleagues and stopped a vehicle in Skipton, resulting in the arrest of four men.

Dominic Griffiths, 37, of Barham Terrace, Bradford, Kieran Holmes, 20, of Sandfield Road, Bradford and Cian Doherty, 19, of Fairhaven Green, Bradford were all charged with burglary.

Jack Alstead, 19, of West Royd Drive, Shipley, Bradford was charged with burglary and possession of a Class B drug.

All four men were denied police bail and are to appear at Barrow Magistrates’ Court today (15 Dec).
