Officers investigating a burglary at the Lifeboat Inn in Maryport have arrested a man and charged him with burglary.
The burglary was reported to police to have taken place on the evening of 30 August.
Anthony Weaver, 57, of no fixed address, was arrested on Sunday evening (1 Sept) and subsequently charged with burglary.
He is due to appear at Workington Magistrates’ Court on 17 September 2024.
