A man from Stockton-on-Tees is to appear in court today (11 Sept) after being charged with a series of offences including a number of burglaries.
Amar Majid, 37, of Valiant Way, Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees was arrested on Wednesday night (9 Sept) following reports of a number of burglary offences in the Ambleside area that day.
This morning he has been charged with:
- Burglary dwelling
- Attempted burglary of a dwelling x2
- Burglary other than a dwelling x2
- Theft
- Assault of a police constable
He was remanded to appear before Barrow Magistrates’ Court today.
