A man has been charged with multiple offences after he was arrested on Coach Road, Whitehaven after failing to stop for officers in the early hours of Wednesday 10 September.
Patrick Young, 36, of Firlands, Carlisle was charged with:
- Failing to stop a mechanically propelled vehicle when required by a constable
- Driving a motor vehicle dangerously
- Failing to co-operate with a preliminary test – motor vehicle offence
- Driving without insurance
- Burglary dwelling and theft
- Driving whilst disqualified
He was remanded to appear at North and West Magistrates today (Sept 12), he has been further remanded to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on 10 October.
