Emergency services are currently responding to a report of an incident on Whernside, Carlisle.
Police received the report at 8:06am today (June 10) to a male with stab wounds.
Officer attended and also located a woman and child with injuries.
A woman in her 50s was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary with serious injuries.
A girl was also taken to Royal Victoria Infirmary with serious injuries.
A man in his 50s was taken to Cumberland infirmary with a stab wound and is described as stable
There is no wider threat to the public and officers are asking member of the public to avoid the area whilst officers conduct their investigations.
