Emergency services responded to an incident in Carlisle city centre after a woman fell from height.
Police were contacted at 5.16pm today (5 September) following concerns for the welfare of a woman, aged in her 20s, who had been reported missing.
A short time later, the woman was located at height at Carlisle Railway Station at Court Square Brow.
The woman subsequently fell and sustained serious injuries. She is currently in hospital.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
