Police are investigating an incident in Kendal – and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to assist with their enquiries.
A man sustained injuries that are not life-threatening in an assault in which he was stabbed. This happened in the Sandylands area yesterday ( September 21 ) at about 4.50pm to 4.55pm
It is believed to have taken place in Peat Lane, with the victim – a man in his mid-twenties – then heading off in the direction of Sandylands Post Office and Sandylands Park.
He was later taken to hospital, where he was today in a stable condition.
The suspect is believed to be known to the victim and there is no perceived risk to the wider community.
Officers are appealing for information from anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone with relevant dashcam or doorbell footage to come forward.
