Officers from the Carlisle & Wigton Neighbourhood Policing Teams have led a proactive investigation, resulting in a number of charges.
A woman from Carlisle was charged yesterday (8 April) with 16 offences relating to incidents committed throughout Carlisle in the past two weeks.
Corrina Kirkpatrick, 35, of St Johns Court, Carlisle has been charged with eight counts of theft from a shop and eight counts of breaching her CBO (Criminal Behaviour Order).
The order was secured against Kirkpatrick last year on the 23 September 2025.
A further man was also charged.
Paul Elliott, 44, of Hawthorn Grove, Carlisle was charged yesterday (8 April) with three counts of theft from a shop.
Kirkpatrick has been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at North Cumbria Magistrates Court on the 18 May 2026.
Elliott is next to appear at North Cumbria Magistrates Court on the 18 May 2026.
