A Barrow man has been charged and remanded with drug supply offences as a result of a Community Serious and Organised Crime (CSOC) operation in Barrow on Thursday 15 May.
Paul Maggs, age 30, of Roose Road, Barrow was charged by detectives for offences of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (cocaine) and money laundering.
Officers made the early morning arrest and subsequently carried out a property searches.
Maggs is due to appear before Furness Magistrates Court today (16 May).
The arrest and charge forms part of CSOCs new operation, Operation Axbridge, which focuses on targeting serious and organised criminals in the Westmorland and Furness area.
