Two charged with drug supply offence after a proactive policing operation in Carlisle

Two men have been charged with drug supply offences after several premises were searched across Carlisle.

Officers from Carlisle’s Serious & Organised Crime unit located 692 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin with an estimated value of £14,000.

• Ashley Hull, 21, of Crummock Street, Carlisle was charged with conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug – crack cocaine and conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug – heroin.
• Rashurne Hawthorne, 30, of Chasemore Close, Carlisle was charged with was charged with conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug – crack cocaine and conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug – heroin.

Both are to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on 6 January 2025.
