Two men from Penrith have been charged with being concerned in the supply of Ketamine after officers from Eden’s Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) carried out a warrant on Thursday 8 January in Penrith.

Matthew Graham, 31, of Raiselands Croft, Penrith and Steven Metcalfe, 38 of Macadam Way, Penrith were both charged by officers following the warrant.

Graham has been remanded into custody and is due to appear before court on 29 January.

Metcalfe is due to appear at Carlisle Crown Court om 9 February.

Another person arrested has been released under investigation.

Inspector Mo Bibby, Eden NPT, said: “Information from the public plays a vital role in helping police identify and disrupt suspected criminal activity in our communities.

“We encourage anyone with concerns about drug dealing, or other crime, to come forward, as even small details can make a difference.”
