Two men charged with various theft offences following reports in Pooley Bridge

Two men have been charged today (26 May) with a string of theft offences following reports in Pooley Bridge this weekend.

Steven Skinner, aged 56, of no fixed abode has been charged with five counts of theft from a shop, theft of a bicycle, an offence of theft by finding and using threatening language in a public place.

Christopher Marshall, aged 59, of High View North, North Tyneside has been charged with four counts of theft from a shop, theft of a bicycle and an offence of theft by finding.

Both appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates Court today.
