The incident in Dale Street in Ulverston which has been on-going since yesterday evening (18 June) has safely concluded.
At around 10.35am, the man inside the address has walked out of the property, handed himself to the police and is now in custody for a public order offence.
He has walked out of the property with minor injuries to his hands/arms and has been triaged by the ambulance service.
Those people who had been evacuated from nearby properties will be able to return to their homes once final safety checks are completed, including with regards the release of gas at the property.
A BB gun has been located at the scene.
