Police are appealing for information following a two-vehicle collision in Havelock Road, Workington.
Officers were called to the collision at 9.49pm yesterday ( April 2 ).
The collision involved two vehicles – a silver Toyota Rav-4 and a red Toyota Yaris
Both the driver of the Yaris, a woman, and the passenger in the car, a man, were taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
The man suffered serious injuries while the woman did not suffer serious injuries.
The driver of the Rav-4, a man, and its two passengers, both women, were also taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
The man did not suffer serious injuries. One of the women suffered serious injuries. The other did not suffer serious injuries.
Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, referring to incident 226 of April 2.
