Police have arrested two people in connection with an incident in Workington yesterday (12 December).
Police were called by North West Ambulance Service to the report of a sudden death in the area of Findlay Place, Workington at 11:46am on 12 December.
A man and woman were pronounced deceased at the scene.
A man in his 40s, and a woman in her 30s, have both been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs. They have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
The deaths are being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.
